Could you stand on a planet or moon?

Some of these places have ground under them — rock, or ice thick enough to walk on. Some have nothing you could stand on at all, and you would simply keep sinking. Say which.

Venus is a yes: there is rock down there and a spacecraft photographed it — and it is hot enough to melt lead, which is a different thing from having nowhere to stand. And the four big outer planets are a no in a way that surprises most grown-ups: it is not that the surface is hidden under the clouds. There is no surface beneath them to stand on at all — the gas just gets thicker and hotter the deeper you go.
